SAISA
High School Athletics
Karachi American School is a proud founding member of SAISA League. The league includes international schools from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Oman, Jordan, and Pakistan.
Sports offered in SAISA are volleyball, basketball, swimming, track and field, soccer and badminton. High school students may participate in SAISA team sports whereas swimming and track and field are open to all athletes ages 10 and above.
These sports are spread across three seasons which culminate in a tournament held in one of the member schools. SAISA athletes often also participate in cultural outings during SAISA to fully immerse themselves in the local culture.
In addition to the athletic tournaments, there are SAISA art and music festivals usually held in the spring.
Season 1 August-November: Swimming, boys volleyball and girls volleyball
Season 2 November to February: Boys basketball, girls soccer, track and field
Season 3 February to April: Girls basketball, boys soccer and badminton SAISA Music and Art are held in the spring.
